I would like to see you get something going and I think the Silverdome is the best choice. My understanding is that the Dome has been sold maybe that is the reason for the delay in response. Good idea no matter were it is held!

You might want to check out the rental fee before you get to many people excited, I can't imagine it be to cost effective. Would this inside and out because of the number of cars or would it be a limited number of cars?
